CHERYL FIX
REACH Vice Chair
Cheryl’s career serving in the public service and vulnerable populations spans over 30 years. Currently appointed as the Public Trustee for the Province, she has worked in the Government of Alberta, Government of BC and in London England. Cheryl has been a resident of Edmonton for the past 13 years, returning back to Alberta after working and studying in England and BC. Her educational background includes a BA focusing in criminology and a MBA focusing on leadership and global innovation. Her passion for serving her community comes through serving on over 30 different local, provincial, national and international boards, including her local community league, Kids Help Phone and BC provincial Victim Services. With a passion for social justice and inclusion, she is interested in exploring collaboration in ways not considered previously.
Cheryl grew up in Northern Alberta, and is married, with one son and one French bulldog. They travel frequently to France to visit family and enjoy travel. She tags along with her son to all the skateboard parks and ski hills, golf courses and lakes for some boat surfing.
