Deputy Chief Warren Driechel has been with the Edmonton Police Service for over 26 years and is currently the Deputy Chief of the Community Safety and Well-Being Bureau. His most recent roles in the EPS were as the Executive Officer to Chief McFee, and as the Superintendent of the Information Technology Division where he led a transformative change to the EPS on how the organization records data and develops new technologies. Over his career, he worked in several operational areas leading and developing police intelligence units and programs, working in organized crime and gang investigation teams, in recruit training, and in patrol and neighbourhood foot patrol.
