OST Conference helps summer programs grow

The 2019 Out of School Time Conference is coming up June 27.

Community members who run summer programs will gather for a day of informative and practical sessions focused on building staff and organizational capacity for delivering summer programs.

Dr. Gale Gorke will be the keynote speaker and attendees will have a chance to expand their knowledge and skill in areas such as: behaviour management, handling disclosures, using physical activity to help children learn self-regulation, and more.

This conference is for people who work with children and youth in out of school time programming. It is a fun and interactive way to share stories from the field, engage in meaningful discussions, access valuable training, and acquire new skills and helpful tools.
