Most of us use technology daily. We use it to get updates about world affairs and our social circles, to connect with each other and to work efficiently. The Internet and technology are now integral and essential parts of our professional and private lives. But as technology advances, so does its usage for sexual exploitation and sexual assault.

Join the Sexual Exploitation Working Group for an evening overview about technology safety for youth and children.

Participants will learn:
  • How to identify signs of sexual exploitation
  • What consent is in the context of online behaviours and how to identify when consent is violated
  • How the sexual exploitation of children through the Internet is investigated and prosecuted
  • What resources are available
