Join us as we hear stories and explore how REACH Edmonton and their partners are making meaningful impact in strengthening community safety.

Along with our AGM, we will be hosting a speaking panel to hear from youth, teachers and officers in how the Police Youth Engagement Program (PYEP) is equipping youth with the tools and skills to become leaders in their own communities. This will also be a great opportunity for attendees to network and learn about the important work some of our exhibiting agencies are doing.

Empowering the Leader Within

Each and every one of us has the potential to be a leader within our community. This year's AGM will take a focus on the Police and Youth Engagement Program (PYEP) and how it has been inspiring high school students in developing positive relationships with the Edmonton Police Service alongside becoming leaders of tomorrow. Jan Fox will be moderating a panel of program evaluators, teachers, police officers and youth where we will hear stories of the programs growth and impact.

Panel Speakers

Entertainment for the evening includes a performance by Timiro Mohamed. Timiro is a local spoken word poet and university student. She is the co-author of the chapbook Water and a national spoken word semi-finalist having competed at the Canadian Festival of Spoken word with the 2016 Edmonton Slam Poetry team.
