Shalene Williams has a multi-faceted career in the private and public sector with strategic and operational experience. She currently works as a Manager in the department of Forestry, Parks, and Tourism with Government of Alberta. Her interests are in public policy, legislation, governance, and stakeholder relationships. Shalene is originally from Vancouver, British Columbia where she graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Master’s Degree and Bachelor of Arts. She also volunteers and serves on various boards believing in the importance of giving back to the community and civic responsibility. Shalene looks forward to working collaboratively with others to make Edmonton a safe, inclusive, and equitable city.
