YUSSUF TAKAL

Yussuf Takal holds an MBA from Wilfred Laurier University and has more than a decade of professional experience in the academic, non-profit and public sectors. He previously served as a Policy Analyst at the YMCA Corporate Office and Compensation Officer at Public Services and Procurement Canada. Currently, he is Business Expertise Advisor for Business Planning & Data Management at Employment and Social Development Canada where he optimizes the collection, storage and use of data to better support productivity, efficiency, evidence-based analysis and decision-making. He also provides strategic advice and recommendations on various projects for the Government of Canada.

Yussuf is a strategic thinker who has deep interest in the community local issues. He volunteers with different community organizations and supports safer and vibrant Edmonton where all people feel safe. Yussuf is interested in taking initiatives that supports diversity and inclusion and enhances a culture of safety, inclusiveness and integration.
