Dr. Jared Wesley is an Associate Professor in the Department of

Political Science at the University of Alberta, where he is leading the

creation of a new Master of Arts in Policy Studies. In his academic

work he has built professional linkages between political scientists

and public policy professionals through research and teaching based

initiatives, such as the Cafe Pracademique initiative and the Edmonton

Ward Boundary Commission. He is a widely published in academic

publications and is an experienced public lecturer.He has served on

many University committees, including as a Founding Co-Director of

the Alberta Policy Internship Program.
