TRAINING

Recovery College

Why Recovery College?

Their courses offer more structured learning experiences than many group programs. They’re designed with input from qualified and experienced educators AND people with lived experience. Each course has clear learning outcomes and activities to explore and build knowledge. Peer Support is at the heart of everything they do, and they believe everyone in the room has valuable insight to share. Recovery College see everyone as a teacher and a learner at the same time, including our facilitators.

Shades of Self Disclosure:  Learning how much to share, when to share, and who to share your story with can be tricky. This course will cover how to safely, and appropriately, share information about your mental health. This is a 2-part (2 x 2 hours) online course, offered through Zoom. It is run by 2 trained facilitators, one of whom has lived experience.
