Lux is currently the Family Resource Network Manager for C5/Boyle Street. They have worked in the non-profit sector across Alberta for their entire career, in progressively increasing leadership roles. They mentored youth and have extensive frontline experience with those experiencing housing insecurity and homelessness while working with youth and families.

They are interested in leadership and understanding boards and committees because they are dedicated to learning and giving back to the community. They are dedicated to working toward decolonization by supporting Cree language revitalization and finding innovative ways to engage Indigenous populations. They lead many different forms of family programming that incorporate indigenous teachings and ways of knowing for education and awareness. Lux is dedicated to Queer, AntiRacist and Feminist practice, with more than two decades of experience in the social services sector and more than a decade of work in leadership roles.
