MARK DAVIS

REACH Staff

Mark is passionate about advocacy. He holds a BA in Anthropology and Native Studies from the University of Alberta. His experience as an independent business owner, an advocate for persons with cognitive disabilities, and a resident of McCauley have paved the way to his work in REACH’s Safer McCauley Neighbourhoods Initiative. Mark is pleased to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders for the creation of a safer, more connected and vibrant community.

 

As a musician, Mark has been the recipient of an Edmonton Music Award, a Mayor’s Salute to Excellence Award and an Edmonton Artist Trust Fund Award. He has also been nominated for a Mayor’s Award for the Arts and the 2012 Polaris Music Prize. Mark is married to Alice Kos. They have two children, Jack and Georgie.
